Research

How can data systems do more with the resources they have?

My research focuses on workload-aware, memory-constrained database optimizations, including LSM-trees, Bloom filters, and benchmarking. I completed my PhD at Boston University in May 2025, following an MPhil at the University of Hong Kong and a bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering at Tsinghua University.
